In the heart of Bamenda, a quiet revolution is taking shape. I-NNOVA, YOSADO's very first funded project, is a youth-led tech innovation hub designed to give young people the digital skills they need to compete in the modern economy.
With a grant of 600,000 FCFA from YOSADO, I-NNOVA has set up a dedicated workspace where aspiring developers, designers, and digital entrepreneurs come together to learn, build, and launch real products.
The hub offers hands-on training in web development, mobile app creation, UI/UX design, and digital marketing — all skills that are in high demand but with very few accessible training options in the Northwest Region.
"Before I-NNOVA, I was teaching myself to code using my phone," says one of the hub's participants. "Now I have access to computers, mentors, and a community of people who believe in what I'm building."
YOSADO's funding model requires I-NNOVA to submit monthly progress reports, ensuring accountability and allowing YOSADO to track exactly how funds are being used and what impact is being created.
This is just the beginning. YOSADO believes that technology is one of the most powerful equalizers for a generation that deserves better opportunities.
